Pune, Jan 22 (UNI) Metta Social solutions, MIT Art, Design and Technology University, India Global along with its partners -Hope for the Children Foundation, Nanhe Farishte and MSME will launch the “Digital Daana” campaign on 26 January.

This a fundraiser campaign to provide 10,000 laptops, over the next 6 months, to underprivileged families and thereby impact nearly 20,000 children. “There are over 400 million students in India. The "Digital Divide” may push back the students’ progress by 2-3 years and will leave a long-lasting negative impact on child development,” said Mr. Iftekhar Pathan, Co-Founder of Metta Social solutions Pvt Ltd, and Dr. Sunita Karad, Dean MITCOM, at a press conference here on Friday.
